The Alan Carr show was great! We had good seats and he was so bloody funny. I could wet myself laughing just by looking at him! Its interesting how they film segments of the show, it kinda makes you go, "Ahhhh
thats how they do it".
So anyway, the filming yesterday was for the show to be broadcast tonight but Kim Cattrall part was filmed for next weeks show... So the people who were going to be on the show with Kim Cattrall (Boy George & N Dubz... snore) were going to be filmed next week... Confused? I bloody was. But I was made up that we didn't have to see N Dubz perform but Florence & the Machine instead (YAY!).
(By order of appearance)
Kim Cattrall- When she came down the stairs I was whooping and clapping like a dedicated S.A.T.C fan (plus, Samantha is my favourite S.A.T.C character), but then she opened her mouth and she sounded so.... strange. She did the whole interview in a English accent and when Alan questioned her she responded with a "But I am English!", er love, you was born here but it doesn't mean you kept you accent when you've been living in the states for god knows how long. I think it was because she was going on to do her play right after the interview and probably didn't want to slip out of her characters accent. I think she found parts of the interview tedious and looked like she was just dying to get out of the studio. Her Liverpudlian impression was good though.
Florence & the Machine- OMG. I was so happy I got to see her perform. She is amaaaaazing! And the outfit she wore... I WANT!! She performed Dog Days Are Over and it was super duper good. She had to film it twice because of the generic clapping the first time round from the audience (that included me).
Justin Bieber- I have to say his song, Baby Baby is terribly catchy... he was a little sweetheart- has the whole heart throb thing down to a T. Alan was so funny in this interview. Had annoying little girls in the audience screaming and yelling stuff which I didn't understand (well, it would be worrying if I did). No way were they 18, which you have to be to see the show. I have to say I enjoyed this interview more than the Kim Cattrall one, much to my surprise... though I still think he looks like Hilary Swark in Boys Don't Cry.
David Hayes- World heavyweight title holder. This interview was good too. Raw eggs, slapsies and refraining from er... coming...
Miranda Hart & Russell Howard- They were on to talk about their charity bike ride for Sports Relief. My least favourite interview as I felt Alan had no steam left in his camp choo choo train.
But the best part of all was seeing Alan Carr filming and off film. He is one funny man!
